Gateway to the Motive Power Trades – Hybrid Level 1 Program
Modeled after the Commercial Vehicle and Equipment Apprenticeship Program (CVEA), this hybrid course allows participants to complete theory lessons online on their own time and continue working Monday through Friday. Participants attend in-person sessions on Fridays at the TR Leger Apprenticeship Training Centre, Kemptville Campus.
This course would be a great option for individuals already registered as apprentices looking to complete their Level 1 certification or those looking to establish themselves in one of these trades.
About the Program:
- Individuals who successfully maintain a 70% or higher mark in all 7 modules of the program will be granted their Level 1 CVEA In-Class Certification which we provide to the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development (MLITSD).
- Participants can remain employed while completing their certification.
- All training is fully funded by government partners so there are no enrolment fees for participants.
- Program Duration: Every Friday, starting September 8, 2023 – February 9, 2024, with the exception of holidays and PA days.
